Captive-bred · 42° N
Scientifically Raised. Cared for by Hand.
Captive-bred aquarium fish, raised in recreated native habitats.
Mission
Recreating Wild Habitats Without Ruining Native Ones.
Recreating a species' native habitat using the exact local flora and water chemistry requires a level of patience that borders on unreasonable, but it's the only way to do this right. Dialing in precise parameters and establishing true-to-nature plant environments takes time, but it produces strikingly vibrant fish. Building these complete micro-ecosystems means hobbyists who share a deep respect for the environment get healthy, thriving stock—and wild ecosystems get left in peace.
Method
Why captive-bred matters
- 01
Leaving Wild Streams Alone
Native ecosystems have enough on their plate. Breeding high-grade stock in-house keeps demand off fragile habitats—every animal raised in my tanks is one less taken from the wild.
- 02
Skipping the Supply Chain Drama
Wild-caught stock spends weeks surviving on panic and bad water in transit. Mine grow up in clean, stable tanks, so they transition to your aquascape without the stress or shock.
- 03
Refusing to Guess on Chemistry
I don't do "vibes-based" water management. Every tank is tracked to exact parameters (pH, GH, KH, TDS) using pure RO/DI water, so you know precisely what you're getting.
